Re: lua for mac?

Mac does have a standard lua 5.1.2 interpreter and you can still program Luaplayer apps with any type of text editor, but their isn't any official luaplayer for mac. Their is however some user made versions out their (I'm pretty sure Bronx made one of them). Search the ps2dev.org forums and I think you can find a version of one.

Re: lua for mac?

Standard Lua works on Mac OS X. There are several ports of an OpenGL LuaPlayer, which were made when Shine had decided to change LuaPlayer to use OpenGL. Since he is no longer maintaining LuaPlayer, those ports are useless. Insert_Witty_Name is no in control, and he is revamping everything, including creating a LuaPlayer for Mac OS X (using SDL or GLUT underneath for cross-platform windowing). So, no there isn't a LuaPlayer for Mac OS X, but there will be Wink

Re: lua for mac?

It's still far off yet, but a little teaser for Lua Player on Mac OSX.

It's being completely re-written from scratch using SDL and OpenGL.

Nice, how is the LuaPlayer refractor going in general?
