Re: EvilMana Tile Editor
cool also btw
if you get a chance you should make a new layer
1) Tile
2) Overlay Tile
3) Player and sprites and all that
4) Overlay
5) Object
thats quite useful as ive found im going to attempt to modify LUMM to get an extra layer because this will alow your player go in between two thing

Re: EvilMana Tile Editor
The next release should be within a day or so hopefully.
16x16 tiles will be removed for the time being due to technical issues with that size.
[EDIT] ok far less than a day, new release added. Version 0.4.2.0
This version could potentially have added bugs, or it may not have added any.
Scrolling maps are now made directly from the editor. No player to scroll with for now. That will come.
It will create 2 files for the scrollings maps.
The only requirement to run them is to be sure your images are in the same folder as your 2 files.
Also be sure that you start off by creating a new map from File - New Map and set the resolution to
480 x 272 in order for it to work on the PSP

Re: EvilMana Tile Editor
new version...heres the lowdown
0.4.7.0 (5/20/07):
* TileSet Loader added. This will load a tileset into the editor and export either selected parts of it or the entire image
as individual tiles. These will be loaded into the tile list in the editor. This also saves the individual images to the
folder from which the tileset was loaded. The individual tiles will be used with your game. Not the tileset picture.
The tileset image has to have exact dimensions divisible by the tile size in order to be loaded up.
To use this feature you click Load TileSheet, and select a valid image.
The TileSet Loader pops up with your image inside.
Clicking inside the image selects individual tiles from the image.
You must enter a File Name and select the image format to export as.
Note that for exporting multiple tiles you need not change the file name for each. The editor will add numbers to
the file name to keep from overwriting images.
You may click Load Selected to load a single tile, or Load All to load the entire image as individual tiles.
Once finished you may close the form.
