5.00m33-6 last of the CFW?

If you haven't noticed Dark Alex has yet to crack the official firmware 5.55 fw provided by sony. Which doesn't really matter unless your a hard core GI Joe fan, which happens to be the only game needing this firmware. but from the looks of things other games coming to US will be needing this fw such as shin megami tensei(persona). No one has heard of anything from Dark alex or anyone from the m33 team on the usual breaking of fw. Lets hope this changes soon. Maybe he is just waiting for the PSP go to come around or maybe he is done, what ever it is, lets hope something changes.
Which if your running 3.71m33, do not update your PSP with network, it will auto put 5.55m33

Well the PSP homebrew scene is in a bit of a slum, maybe he doesn't feel like putting the work into it because the majority of people are just going to use it to pirate games.

Very true, theres defiantly more iso players (people who hacked there psp just to play isos) than homebrewers/developers.
Honestly sony ignored the psp for ages, there first attempt with the 2000 was to take away the 1.50 kernel, pandora battery was born. Secondly they released the 3000 w/ the new motherboard, supposedly un-hackable, what lend to that failure? The shitty games being released.
So now we have the Go, no more UMD, all content is downloaded. But we still afaik have usb access, which will give access to te game file(whatever u download) & then probably people will find a way to hack those & host them all to play. I ain't sure how CFW will come about? Even if it does?
I don't think this will be the last cfw though.

I am not expecting an update anytime soon, the scene is fairly dead and theres little to no activity from the heavyweights

time will tell
