Notepad++ Download
Notepad++ is a free (as in "free speech" and also as in "free beer") source code editor and Notepad replacement that supports several languages. Running in the MS Windows environment, its use is governed by GPL License.

This is what i use to code Java and lua, im sure it will be helpful for everyone. it support alot of different languages making it the ultra tool!

Notepad ++ FTW

I like that it can pick up on blocks and then you can collapse them out of view

I dont like that theres not a nix version, but hey, theres TONS of editors for nix so....

depends on what your looking for, if you want a full blown development environment then no, if you just want what boils down to Gedit with some extra features, on windows then yes
